Default suspension system for use with sit-down quilting machine

I just spent 15 mins. doing an advance search but couldn't fine what I was looking for. Do any of you know what thread showed information about making/ buying a system which took the weight off the quilt as you did free-motion work? One showed the system to be free standing and another I think hooked into the ceiling.

This lady sells them if you don't want to make one of your own. (I have never met this lady or talked to her.)

Yup! that's what I was looking for!!!! Thank you so much....we are expecting our first Lake Effect gifting us with a foot or more snow, so I am going to see if DH will build me one tonight. I have a 96x112 quilt to do on my Tiara and this system sure will help my back! Can't think of a better way to spend a snowy afternoon tomorrow.........

In the past, I've seen one that used a portable dog grooming frame. It wasn't very expensive and didn't require holes in the ceiling.

I just had a table that supported the quilt so I never had any issues with the size or weight of the quilt when quilting with my Bernina. The layout was like an "L" leaning 90 degree to the right. Wish I had taken a picture back then.

I've been practicing with my 401 this weekend. I have 2 mobile storage cabinets that fit nicely on either side of my 401 and they hold up the project just fine. going to have Dh look at the video and see what/if he'll look into making a set up similar to.

Someone started a thread "Dreaded Drag when free motion quilting" which brought out some interesting photos of home crafted systems, plus a link to the "Jenoop Quilt Suspenders" site. All of these are more portable than attaching to the ceiling.

Dear Hubby got it done and will test it tonight! Would love to post a picture if someone would explain how to do so from an iPhone.
