    Default Swag or scallop border?

I have a round robin quilt that I would like to add one last border to, and hope you can direct me to a pattern or template for a simple swag or scallop that I can hand applique on? I noticed Accu-quilt has a die but it costs $80. Too much to spend for just one quilt!

I tried googling swags...nothing. My concern if you did find one online is it may not be the right size for your quilt. They are a simple design that you could probably draft yourself on a sheet of type of paper. I've done this in the past by using an oval serving platter and slow cooker lid as my templates. The curves were perfect. Or another trick is to find one you like online, enlarge it on your computer screen by pressing Ctrl and + Then tape a piece of paper to your computer screen and trace the image. Good luck!

Check out Fancy Frame Decorative Quilt Borders-18"X6-1/2" at Joann's on line, it's a template on sale now for $14.99.

Thanks - I have one of these gizmos already. Will look and see if it will work.

I too use the QIAD ruler to make scalloped edges. It works great and has instructions to balance out the scallops and tips for the corners.

Your round robin quilt sounds wonderful!
