I haven't done the secret swap but have done the block swaps. I really enjoy them. The last one I just got was the pincushion swap---LOVED IT!!! I've pretty much joined ALL the swaps. They are addicting so be careful.

I am in so many I can't count. I do the BLock swaps, the secret pals, the pincushions, etc. I have always had good luck on them. nO problems. SOmetimes to mail them parcel is cheaper than priority. I can stuff a lot into a 4.90 prioirty envelope. Then tape it really well. I ship alot so I am good at it. LOL. I hope everyone gets a chance to join one. My mailman and I are on first name basis. LOL

Have just received back the Hotair Balloon and expect to see a squisshy back from the strip swap soon. Hard to resist all, but I will.
Really like the self postage machines if you have one try it!!
My postal folks are nice and patient, we try it this way and that, a lot of times just a few more cents for priority, and it's way quicker.
Seems like I heard a couple of years ago one of the major carriers were being outsourced for the usps packages, that could have somthing to do with the cost, Good or Bad who knows? All seem to be within a few $$ of each other. :)

All the swaps here seem fun

I have not done the Secret Pal swap and don't intend to as I am in the Secret Angel swap and that is enough for me.
I have done well over I guess, 20 swaps and for the most part, have enjoyed each one. I've only had problems with two and those were resolved.

Just a week ago I sent the fall tablerunner in a 9x12 or a 10x14" bubble mailer envelope. I asked the postal clerk to send it the cheapest way and it cost me I think $2.75 and I never add insurance.
