Here is one of the websites I use when looking for free patterns.
http://www.quilt.com/Blocks/AlphaBlockList.html
It also gives you choices on making your blocks different sizes so if you wanted to do 12" blocks instead of 6" blocks. I am thinking of just doing my favorite blocks from SBS in 12" instead of all of them in 6".
Good luck,
Sherryl

I just started making this quilt. I got the book at a discounted rate through Amazon.com. The book, your rotary cutter & plastic rulers, and freezer paper are really all you need for this quilt. Many of the patterns are in the Electric Quilt programs. If you have a previous version, the blocks should be there.
I've made 5 blocks this week just using my rotary cutter & rulers and using regular block math, i.e. 9 Patch should be 6 inch finished, each square would then be 2" finished, add seam allowance before cutting.
From what I've seen in going through the old messages on their email list, there are some who are doing it scrappy.
I'm also doing the Dear Jane. SBS looks a whole lot easier. SBS is not as dependent on paper piecing like DJ is.

this is the sign-up for the SBS group. read carefully and you may be interested in any info they send you. be aware that you will get a some email, which requires no answer, mostly letting you know what other people in the group are doing. but the sign-up lets you into the archives and allows you to view the finished blocks, etc.
