I have an HP Vista - doesn't work on mine! See? Nothing! Edie
I have VISTA too, worked for me, I just used the ALT key with my left hand and numbers from the keypad on the right, you have to release the ALT key before it shows up. Hope this helps!
Yay! I got 167, 155.171,123.125. doing it on the adding machine part of the keyboard, but couldn't get 13 and 3, the note and the heart. Thanks so much. Edie

Another symbol is the cents '¢' symbol. Simply press down the 'Alt' button with one hand, punch in the numbers 155, release the 'Alt' button and like magic the cent '¢' symbol will appear.

I hope this helps someone, it is just a little knowledge and timesaver.
Nothing happens when i push down the Alt key
