I am in :shock: that you could do that scary project for a first one... I've been quilting for 14 years--and when I took my first look at the pages of directions--I said "oh, no!" and shelved the book for weeks.

I got the picture idea from Karla :) She made the whole quilt...I figured I would try a wall hanging.
As they say-ignorance is bliss :) Karla you really encouraged me- and told me it really wasn't a beginner project-but yikes you never said it was scary!!!!
I am very hooked on quilting now and will probably take a trip to Joanns tomorrow :wink: :roll: :lol:

Other than when I tried to teach a 4H club I had years ago about sewing and we made or tried to make 9 little blocks sewn together in a square-yes this is my first. And when we made those I never even knew or thought about the actual "quilting" part :roll:
