What about a table topper for the centre

One of the board members, Riversong, did a great tutorial on making octagonal tabletoppers but I can't seem to find it at the moment

Many commercially made table cloths get size by adding straight panels sewn together then cut round.
What I was taught from somewhere, do not remember where or when
Diameter of table plus double drop length desired. If you only want drop 12 inches, you add 24" to diameter. For floor length measure from table to floor. Much the same as making a bed quilt.
