Surely you know that I accidentally made a mistake. It should be 9 1/2"

I have made this and am having trouble getting it turned right side out. My corners are not looking good. Any suggestions?

Looks like a nice quick one. I would think we could make it any size we want. I have some rather long buffets and a shorter one. Need to think this one through on size.

Minga, you need to clip your seams back a bit, closer to 1/8" all around, for easier turning. Also trim off the points at the outside corners before turning right side out.
In a turning like this, I would take a shorter stitch length near the corners so you don't punch thru the points when you push them out on turning.

This looks like an easy gift-giving item for the Holidays coming up soon.

Why make such a big deal over my obvious mistake. I shared the pattern out of kindness, not to be critisized. I hope you will all enjoy it and post your beautiful pictures.

Thank you for the hint on trimming the runner. It works perfectly now and looks pretty good. I made it with Christmas prints on one side and Fall prints on the other. Thanks Plovervi2 for posting the pattern. It will look nice on our table during the Holiday seasons.

Don't take it so seriously Karen. I'm sure most of us knew it was and obvious mistake, and I'm sure no one meant to be critical. I printed out the instructions so I wouldn't have to keep running back and forth from the sewing room to the office! (altho, the excerise woudn't hurt me!!) Thank you so much for sharing this. I plan to work on it this weekend. It is a real nice pattern. I think I'll make it shorter for place mats. Thanks again. hum

Hey! I love the table runner, the directions, the design, the mistake, the corrections the whole nine yards--oops! It won't take nine yards. I plan on making several of these little gems because it looks easy and a great scrap piece. Thanks for taking the time to share with us. Don't think twice about any mistake. No worries. God knows we all make 'em. I know my comment was not meant to be critical.
