    I have a quilt that my grandmother made in the early 30s. using that star block. I love it.

    Nice job. It would probably be easier for you if you starch your fabric first. I starch every piece before cutting out and it is amazing what the starch does for it.

    Great job-- I gave my project like this away-- hated all that kind of piecing-- I just kept messing it up...
