    Yea that would make sense but not all fabric stores want to give them away. I love your fabric collection and organization.

    I agree, you need a lot of space to store a yard or two wound around a thick cardboard bolt. I have a few, but they are for the few fabrics that I have many yards of. For smaller pieces, I will use the thin boards.

    The coroplast fabric boards are for sale on this site. They are only 1/8th of an inch thick and and are PH NIL which is SAFE to store fabric on. A set of 24 for $12.00 + shipping. They are really economical. Check it out...

    I have finally heard back regarding the cardboard used on our bolts - it is acid free. The fabric can safely be on the bolt indefinitely.
