Tried to download a picture with a quarter on it but it decided not to scan anymore gotta call the help desk about it. but here is the fabric I posted before it stopped working.

My question is .....Is there enough contrast to make a One Block Wonder from this fabric, or will it make it all solid colors?

Often the otherwise most undesirable fabric is fabulous in the one block wonder. Also a pattern that has lots of variations in it. Large areas and small areas. All ovefr doesn't work very well.
A hint. When you cut each block, put them in paper plates. This helps keep them in order and together

It won't show as one color. You will get some variation in it. It won't be blaring or anything but you will get some really good graduations I thing. Pluse the green will show more in some that others. I think it would work well.

Here is the next start to my One Block Wonder. The fabric has a 24" repeat.

I love how you kept the flower motif in your cuts. Looks a little like an up graded Klidoscope cut. I am waiting for the paint to dry in my quiling room. The hopefully "Katy bar the door"! I fell a couple of weeks ago and really hurt my hip and it affects my ankle so I have been staring whistfully at my sewing machine. I am so ready to get this first OBW done and move on to the others I have fabric for.

Ok, I am thinking 3.5" strips for this fabric. Repeat is 24". Does anyone think differently?

from the looks of the picture, 3 1/2 will work well. I can't wait to see what comes of it
