Hi...I have read about Teflon mats for aiding sliding the fabric on a domestic mahine for FMQ....are they any good ?....and if so where can I get one...the same question applies for sprays
Also does anyone use anything else...I have gloves but my machine likes to hold the fabric a little.

I saw some silicone spray at Hancock's. One of the quilting websites recommended it. (Can't remember which one.)

I love my Supreme Slider. Just Google it, and you'll find it. Some people have complained of problems, but mine works just as advertised. I recently purchased the Queen Supreme for when I use my extension table.

I just purchased the queen sized supreme slider. Didn't notice a major difference but I am also quilting a generous queen which is very heavy. It stays put nicely though. I don't find a need to tape it into place as some people do.

go to the kitchen section of any dept store and get a teflon liner for either cookie sheets or the oven.
Go to the auto supply section for your teflon or silicon spray

I just purchase the large teflon oven sheet for 5.99 at The Christmas Tree Shop...works great...I did use painters tape to keep in place though....just in case it slide...I also cut it to size and have enough for my other machine.
