    You can use the cooking ones; they work just the same, but often the cooking ones are black -- not the best color. You can also use the Teflon pressing sheets, which are usually a translucent tan color. The ones made especially for machine quilting are called the Slider, Free-Motion Slider or Supreme Slider.
