    I agree!
I also use the slider for machine applique. The piece I'm working on moves easily under the needle.

Love the Supreme Slider! Really helps move the quilt to do whatever I want to on it.

I'm glad you asked that. I'll be watching for the answer, too.

I tried the slider an sewed through it. I got the table vinyl and thought it actually made the fabric harder to move around. I use a 1926 Singer set in a cabinet and the wood was more slippy (is that a word? LOL) than the vinyl.

I can't praise those sliders enough-yes use it. I had tried FMQ for years, just couldn't get the flow between brain, machine & hands. Came across the slider at a show-WOW, everything finally fell into place. I used it until I actually wore it out & then realized I no longer needed it, my brain, hands & machine had made the connection & now I free motion without problems-love it!

Didn't I read somewhere that the silicone sheets for the oven are the same thing as the Slider and so much cheaper?

I taped a piece I had to my machine/table. It worked pretty good. I did buy the silicone mat from B,B&B but hated to put a hole in it. DD uses it as an ironing mat for her applique.

I have the slider and i love it. I've forgotten to use it a couple of times and it makes a huge difference. I just recently invested in the larger queen size to use with my extension table. A great product.
