I am looking for a picture of a wall hanging template storage rack. I would like my husband to build me one, but I can't seem to locate a pic of one. Any help would be appreciated.

I just use a plastic over the door shoe holder.

I use a belt hook and key chain type rings. the kind that come apart with a hinge. Then I just hang them in the closet or on my bookcase when I'm using them and need them handy.

Your local do it yourself store carries peg board and the metal brackets to hold your rulers on.
It is easy to put up and you dont have to take off a dozen rulers to get to the one you want.
I hang my rulers and cutters, tape, scissors, etc.
Just wish I had made it bigger instead of cutting the peg board in half.

I hang my rulers etc on a rack I got at the dollar store meant for pot lids etc. It is made out of heavy wire covered in white plastic. For my quilt stencils I use the notebood rings and screwed cuphooks into a paneled wall to hang them on. Using vertical space in your sewing and quilting area helps a lot and makes things visible. I hung racks from one of those mail order catalogues meant to hold wax paper, foil etc on either side of my cutting/slash ironing/ slash storage dresser. They hold things like my stabilizers for the embroidery machine as well as freezerpaper rolls and even my little travel iron. My main cutting/ironing area is in my basement. In my groundfloor sewing/comptuer room I have a tall boy dresser I cut the legs off of to make it the ideal height for cutting, sewing
and pressing. The drawers provide storage space for everything quilting or emboridery related, I can press blocks, trim edges and small sections of my quilts as I sew without having to run down to the "big" board.

Here is my small one. I have it leaning , but it can be wall mounted. The slots are just a bit wider than the width of the templates or rulers

If you don't mind using a long nail. Paint it with enamel paint and paint a switch plate. Screw the switch plate on the wall and then hammer in the nail in the opening. Be sure it's going into a stud. It looks attractive and holds a ton of rulers and other flat items. DH filed the head of the nail to make it smaller so most holes would fit over it.
