    If you haven't altered your bobbin tension before this occurred, then just re-thread your machine. Something is not clicking in because there appears to be no top tension. That is why whenever new thread is put onto my Bernina, I always check my threads by running a test sandwich thru my machine to make sure everything is OK.

    This has happened to me on a couple of quilts. I only do meandering, and the eyelashes always occur on the outward curves - it means I'm going too fast.
