Thanks for that site. Where were you when I needed this info for about 400 triangles?

Have you tried spraying the paper with 505 a temporary fabric adhesive? I have always pinned my Thangles but I would think the 505 would work.

I use something called Triangulations, it's a CD that has PDF files of HST and QST in many sizes, you just pick the size you want and it will print out the sewing and cutting lines for you. The smaller the size the more will fit on an 8.5 by 11 paper, but you can print out as many as you need. If you want to use strips, you can use those as well with Triangulations. I like that I don't have to keep buying something, just print out more. And you can use any paper that will go through your printer, like Carol Doaks Foundation Paper... works great for HST and any other Paper Piecing projects.

Wow, that's a great site! Thanks for mentioning it.

Personally, I prefer Ta Da - which is a super light weight fusible interfacing (read that NO PINS, stays on fabric, adds no bulk, but does stabilize a bit) that comes in various sizes including the 1.5" finised HSTs......You can order tjem on line, and I believe they are worth every penny!! You do not have the distortion that comes with pinning paper onto your fabric, and these (Ta Das) do not dull your needles, unlike Thangles and other paper aids. Just my 5 cents worth......

who did you order your from?, i would like to try them too..

I love thangles. I've done the grid and the line marking on squares and the thangles method wins every time. I should mention though that I have this aversion to drawing lines on fabric. I hate it. I'll have to look at the ta-da ones.

I read about the tada ones and I can't imagine that it doesn't add some bulk. Even the thinnest interfacing adds some bulk. I wish they had a sample that people could try. Even a 2" square would be enough.

I also use the 4 at a time method. It is quick and easy and the HSTs always come out perfect (or as good as I can get them).

I like the 4 at a time method, but don't get the math to figure what size I need to get the size I want.
