Our "name" brand thrift stores have over inflated ideas of what prices should be. I go in now and then but rarely buy anything.
I do stop in at some in other towns that are more in line with what I think prices should be.

I am from probably the poorest county in So. Jersey, and it is less expensive to shop at Walmart than at our local Goodwill...the problem is mainly that they've found that they get better prices on their shopgoodwill.com site...oh well, I still go just in case...lol...Naomi

Yea, it's a shame really...not much "goodwill" in that! I just hate how they are supposed to be there for those who can't afford new, so they are really hurting. I also learned from a friend who is up in ranks, at a "non-profit" store organization, that less than 10% of their profits actually go to the programs they brag about, but their big wigs are making $400,000 annually. That burns my butt! So, I only donate to shelters now, or places that I know who supply the needy with these items for free :)

It included the extension table, knee control, original manual, accessory case with 11 feet, screwdrivers, wing needle, twin needles, darning hoop and brush for cleaning. I cleaned it up and oiled it and it runs like a charm. So keep scouring those bargain sites, your treasure awaits you!
oh i just envy you but i sure an happy for you also.
