    same here! i don't usually go to goodwill anymore i try to find "generic" thrift stores because the prices are so much better

    I stopped in our Goodwill yesterday looking for a sewing table and found a cute quilt stand for 1.99. Not quite the steal you got but it is worth looking at Goodwill.

    Lucky you...like so many others here, I find that most of the things at our local G/W stores (I can go to 3 or 4 within 30 mile radius)seem to be priced a bit on the high side lately. I have found two church sponsored second hand stores though that have excellent prices, but no sewing machines yet!!!!!! I did not know GW had an auction website...some of those prices are high as I scanned through....
