    So you are saying that I could just sew the border onto the whole quilt, batting, backing and all? I wondered how that would look on the back side of the quilt. But I guess it wouldn't really matter if it were quilted after I sew it on. Just turn right sides (top, batting and backing) together and sew?

    Am I understanding you correctly? If so, I will do that.

    I'm gonna give it a try; I can always rip it out if I don't like the way it looks, I've done it before! ha Thanks for all your help and your ideas. I just love this group!
