I think it's the disease called "quilting pox"! Controlled with chocolate, but never completely cured.

I just read this one to my husband and asked him if it reminded him of anyone. Guess what he said?????

I can relate. The marble floor on my way into the building I work in is laid out in a single irish chain pattern.

One time on an overnight trip, we walked into the hotel lobby, and I looked at the pattern in the tile floor. I said, "That would make a great looking quilt". My daughter's jaw dropped, and she said "Mom...that's enough!! No quilting this weekend!" It cracked me up!!!

I didn't ofcourse, but the brain is only working one way right now. Then the other night was watching Christmas at Rockefeller center. It was really nice, but when the program ended and the peacock showed up...all I could think about was, on my goodness it's 1/2 Dresden plate. Then just a few minutes ago Wendy's Quilts a member here posted a picture of her puppy wearing his new "coat of many colors" then that made me think....Oh my goodness does Dolly Parton still have her coat of many colors she sang about, and would she now understand just how lucky she was.

I think I really need a pill.....or maybe just chocolate.
I think we all have the same problem. Several months ago there was a posting here of a lady in a subway in Germany or somewhere in Europe who took pictures of the beautiful tile work and said something like, " Doesn't this just scream QUILT to you?" I do that everywhere. We are just artistic sickies.

ALL DAY LONG! At the house where I nanny, I've actually taken pictures of coffee cups and floors that (someday) I plan to make blocks of. And then I take the baby out for a walk, and every house with molding or brickwork starts me going again. And to make matters worse, the mother works in the tile industry, so she has lots of books about decorative tiling...

    Chocolate comes from cocoa.
    Cocoa comes from a bean.
    Beans are a vegetable.
And vegetables are good for you.
Therefore, chocolate is good for you!!
    I live by this creed.

Nope, sorry, no pill.....you're infected and there's no cure!! LOL

I see quilt patterns/designs everywhere. I was at a retreat last year, sitting in the bathroom (!!!!) looking at the floor thinking "that would make a great block pattern". A few months later, my retreat roomie showed me a quilt she had designed. I immediately said "You made the bathroom floor!!!!"

Your disease will only get worse......
