Is there such a thing as a 1/4 inch walking foot?? Does that even make sense?
I would love to be able to use a walking foot that had a 1/4 inch seam guide on it.
I have done NO research into this at all, so I wanted to ask people "in the know" :D (that would be all of you here)

I don't have one, but wish I did, one with a guide. I tape a piece of plexiglass in front of my walking foot at 1/4 inch. You could too. Some use moleskin or post it notes to do the same thing.

it is real. well depending on your machine it is. If you measure from your needle out 1/4" out to the right or left you will have your like. on one machine it is on the outer edge of the foot. on my janome it is on the middle of the foot. luckily there is a mark that helps me stay on point.

What machine do you have? My Bernina has a mark on it.

I tried to get my DH to MAKE me one... I told him I'd even buy an extra foot, so he just had to modify it (he's very handy), but he just laughed when I asked. Guess he didnt' think it'd be as simple as I did. tee hee
