As for unwanted, un needed items going into the trash, that bothers me because someone can use it, send it to a thrift shop, or make pet beds for the animal shelters, a local group makes sleeping bags for the homeless & stuff them with unwanted discarded fabrics-they'll take anything to make a bag warmer & they are sent to the areas under the bridges where the homeless live. Many groups make scrap quilts from donated fabrics for people in need.
Don't trash please, and don't feel you have to keep it but someone can use it.
