I have read alot of info on these carpet blades that are sold at the Harbor Freight Stores. Do they do a good job of cutting, besause that price is so cheap, I have always heard you get what you pay for. Any input would be appreciated.

I still have the first one I put in my cutter last summer from Harbor Freight and I surely have used it. The one that came with it didn't last like this one. I don't cut mulitple layers anymore, maybe that is why. I just can't push down with arthritis problems. Love Harbor Freight!

I find them to be better than the brandname ones. Since they are for cutting carpet and "not fabric " I wipe off the oil residue that is on them. Better safe than sorry. Being so cheap it is easier to replace them if a nik appears. you know that feeling of just one more length to cut then I'll change the blade. then you are cursing about the cuts.

I use them and they last forever. I am always, always cutting kits for Project Linus and don't have a dull one yet. Many buy the single packages but when those are gone, I buy the package with the cutter in them and it comes with 3 blades for 3.99. Yes there are other threads on this but different people come on different times, and this is how we share. It takes wayyyyyyyy too long to always search for a subject. Just saying...... :)
