    I, too, did not know of this until today. I'd love to get my church ladies involved but we are committed to sewing for an event on Nocember 13th.

    Please IM me privately about the 'stretcher' quilts. It is unfortunate but I'm sure soldiers will continue to be injured and transported. Not just for Christmas.

    I pray for our military as I have a son in the Navy now is Scicily. I will add these families to my prayers. God bless you for your work.

    I did not know about this but the two quilts I am making are for the sons of a soldier from KY. He is in the 101st airborne. His wife is expecting the 2nd boy in Jan. She also has cancer and a is going to college. She had cancer when she was pregnant with the first and had to have her thyroid removed. I would like to get into making quilts for our soldiers though.
