I found these just the other day. There are 64 oval thin plastic sticky discs in the package for $5.19. You just stick them on a finger or two to protect your skin while hand quilting (or any other hand sewing).

    They work great for me!

I discovered those a few years ago. Sure saves the fingers!

I was given so and just didn't like the way they felt on my fingers. I'm glad you like them.

I'd like to like them for hand quilting but they seemed slippery and the needle kept sliding off. Maybe it was me.

I got mine 15 or so years ago when I was doing some hand quilting. Used them to protect my "under" finger. Put them away and just pulled them out to share with my quilt group since we are doing some sashiko quilting. Didn't even know if they were still available. Where did you get yours--I'll pass it on to my group.

I don't do a lot of hand stitching, with the exception of binding, but I have used these and for me they are perfect! Just can't sew with a regular thimble, I just wind up using a different finger that doesn't have the thimble on it.
