I recently tried to make a thimbleberrie quilt " Thimble berrry Village" and I am having such a hard time with her directions!! I was wondering is it just me or does anybody else find Thimblebeery patterns confusing??

Give us some details and see if we can help. I've done several, and haven't had issues yet, but I don't know of the one you've mentioned.

No thats not the quilt its in a block of the month book where they are all together. I am having trouble on how the insturctions want you to put a triangle over a rectangle and start cuttign to put it in the middle? confusing I know and my triangle tips are getting cut off so IDk... bout ready to chuck it..

    Unhappy You're not alone

I've tried to make two of her patterns (Hopscotch and Swoon) and both are difficult patterns. On hopscotch it's all seams on the diagonal, and if you don't offset the seam allowance, nothing adds up. Of course, this was mentioned NOWHERE in the pattern. So, unless you can figure it out alone, you're out of luck. I think her patterns are difficult.

Please give us the pattern or a picture of your problem. I have never found her patterns to be difficult - just the opposite - very easy to follow the directions.
