    When hand sewing/heming, put something under the quilt so you don't sew it to your ironing board! Yep.....you guessed it. I just did that. Good thing no one was around. I used one of those bad words. &*(*&^%@#($

    Yes, and be careful if you are embroiderying something in the car on a long drive. For some reason a hoop just doesn't look good attached to your chest. You get strange looks at the rest stop when you run to the bathroom because you didn't have the time to unsew it.

    I know you will find this odd, but when things go wrong, I often use those same words.
