I bought a book especially for prairie points that used ONE piece of material that you marked and folded and got a whole row of perfect ones! Not sure now where it ended up. my mom always had hers pointing out she sewed to edge of top (facing in) and turned hers "pillow case style" and then tied quilt- they ended up going out

I perfer the outies, although I've never done them myself; I'm always impressed when I see them.

I put some on a very small quilt, but not at the outside edge. I couldn't figure out how to make them point out, so I didn't do any with the binding. Can anyone explain it to me, please? Thanks!!

My points poke out. Then I recently finished a quilt that I used them as an inner border.

Sometimes I wonder where my brain is... I have a set of pillowcases with innies where the little accent strip is. I love the innies on these, not sure about quilts--maybe some day.

The one I made was an outie on the outside border, but I really like how the innies make an inside border look.

This is a tutorial for continuous prarie points. Much easier, faster, and looks better than individual ones. I love it.... innies or outies!!!!
