    Grrrr...cats...what they get into...

I've been collecting supplies for my quilting classes in an open box (first mistake). Three spools of thread and one package of needles have gone missing. I think I know which one did it.

This is going to be fun...

Ha! Yep, I know that feeling well, except my little thief is a beagle. The cats are usually very good...but I still try not to tempt them. :P

It's okay for the thread to be missing but I would be nuts if the needles are missing. That would worry me to death.

Hope you know their hiding places. LOL. I know I've been looking for months for my seam ripper and I've yet to find it. My little Missy will take off with anything she can get in her mouth or drag behind her.

The other day I was cutting blocks and dropped one piece on the floor- something that would be a scrap piece. Forgot to pick it up. That night I found it on the floor next to my side of the bed. They are so funny, I'm constantly finding their toys on the bed or floor too.

I deliberately toss down fabric scraps for the dogs sometimes. It makes them feel included, I think, so they're less likely to misbehave for attention.

The biggest item I see "walk away" is my pin cushion, so I'm paranoid about locking that up if I'm not using it at the moment.

The thread was pretty tightly wrapped but the needles were in paper. My husband said he saw them batting them around so hopefully there was more interest in that than chewing. Hopefully, they're under a dresser and can't get at them.

I have to watch Kody when he's in my sewing room. He has a bad habit of pulling the pins from my quilts while I'm working on them and trying to eat them. I hope you find your missing items soon! :)

Caught my cat trying to eat thread the other day. I stoped him and it was a god thing I did, there was a needle at the end of the thread.
