    This quilt is really much easier to put together if you make a 16patch block from four 4patches and a 4patch block from four HSTs.

    Thx for this! It would make a great leaders/enders project. That is, you can use the square units (at least) to scrap on and off as you piece. Great way to stop wasting thread!

    I've made one using batiks. Goes together very nicely. Someday I may get it quilted.

    How many of you joined the HST and Strips Exchange on the Quilt Show site????? I did and am constantly looking for good ideas to use all these HSTs and Strips ----this is a great site with many appropriate patterns.
