I'm sure we will figure this out. Just like sewing, figured that out too.

Personally Patrice I tire of negativity. Our daily lives are filled with it, and personally I like to think of quilting and this board as a positive influence in my life. So I feel we should all be patient, and learn. I like the new board and all the new things it brings, I was beginning to get bored with the old one and was looking at other quilting forums. So bring it on, keep us enlightened and thanks for the hard work.

I have decided to work on learning to do ONE thing in the new format, daily. And, not try to figure out all of it at once, had to crawl before learning to walk, right? Too many new things all at once make my head hurt! If it takes three days to learn to handle that one thing, it will take three days--and I will not move to a new one, until I can handle it. piecefully, the old one

ok, Patrice- FINALLY I got on - only took 3 days! I truly think it was all my fault however, it's going to take a few times checking in to feel comfortable with the new look. To say I missed it while trying to navigate doesn't say much. thank you for yhour help!!! Really apreciate it!! Carie

No offense to the web developers, but this is pretty much an out of the box install of vBulletin. I really doubt they slaved for hours or worked weekends. Anyone with basic web development experience could produce this site in a few days. The converting of the old database to the new would take some time, of course, but we're not talking months of effort here.
    Wholeheartedly agree with this.
TOTALLY AGREE ALSO ... This weekend I showed the new site to my future SIL who works in IT, and even HE had trouble navigating !! He said it was not user friendly, and was not impressed. He also commented about the lack of instruction for bridging users ...
IMHO making honest comments about the site & user problems is NOT "negative" or "nasty" ... it's just being HONEST.
Are we not supposed to express our opinions or ask real questions ??
Is this the "Pollyanna" quilt board now ???

I hate when I click on a topic to read or to see a picture one has to go to the last page to read or see it. All the replies should be place after the topic and/or picture. Just doesn't make sense!
