I am going to a retreat in Feb. and want to make a thread catcher. The one with the weighted pincushion and bag hanging from it? Can anyone help me please? Thank you.

That one is cute! I have the Abbey Bag pattern. I thought the OP was looking for a free one. But even with all the free ones out there I bought the Abbey Bag one.

You can find some patterns by McCalls or Simplicity for those thread catcher bags. I have seen them in the craft sections of the pattern books.
