i am just asking, could be be your tension....my machines are not picky at all....they take what I give them from super cheap serger thread, to Coats and Clark, to Robinson Anton, to beautiful Superior thread.....I don't think my girls (a Brother and a Bernina) know how to act up cause they know they would not get treated well....

I use 90/14 needle with Essential Threads. No problem.

Sadly, yes, my machine can be picky, but it depends on the day. Some days my Brother Laura Ashley 2000 doesn't like Connecting Thread, but other days it does.

Funny you should ask this. I just discovered today that my vintage Singer 201 does not like Aurifil thread. Once I switched to Coats & Clarks, it was much happier. My 301 is happy with C&C too, but it likes Aurifil just as well. Go figure!

Thanks BellaBoo. I had 90 needle in the machine and would not take the CT thread. So I bought a 100 size needle and now my machine likes the thread...guess I just needed a larger opening on the needle. I'm happy now because I have lots of the CT thread. Love this board.
