Has anyone used connecting threads $2.49 a cone thread to quilt with? Was wondering how well it held up? Thanks for the input.

I use it on all of machines - vintage, antique and modern. None of them have had a problem with it. LOVE IT!!!!

i only like the thread Pro Essentials the other stuff just makes too much lint.

i can't even do one pass across a quilt top with quilting without having to clean out the bobbin case because its skipping stitches from all the lint build up.

I've had breakage problems. Have tried it in treadles, older electrics, and a modern Singer with same problems. It could be I got a bad batch, but it was too much hassle for me to use on my quilt tops. That said, I have had luck using it in my bobbins.

I use it for piecing and quilting. Even on my long arm. I like it a lot.
