    i agree.

i actually stopped trying to have a thread stash like i do in fabric.

i only purchase thread that has a specific use because i found the ones i purchased for stash just never got used but the ones i purchased for a specific project went right onto the machine.

i have a fairly good selection of colors- but someone's quilt always seems to come in that needs a color i don't have-
i started one of mine a couple weeks ago- and had to stop-unload it and put it aside-because i ran out of the color i was using- i was so sure i had a whole cone---the poor quilt has been waiting (forever) to get quilted- and now it's on the sidelines again...
and i seem to always be running out of white- even though it doesn't seem like i quilt alot of quilts with white....maybe because i use it up piecing too--
had a quilt come in last month that needed yellow---how could i not have yellow???
    now i do...
seems like thread is one of those supplies that continuously need to be replenished/added to :)

This is how I started, then ooh, I just need to add red. Then navy, then, well, you get it!
