There are a couple of "videos" that you can google, but when I got my "new-to-me" serger, I took it to my favourite quilting store where they fixed that brand of machine, and had them give me a couple of lessons on the machine. It was really worth it.

My old 5 thread serger works just fin. No need for the air threaded. Would like to own but can't justify the expense.

A hint I found is to use those flexible blue dental things I got st Walgreens in a pack to help thread all but the needles.

OMG...this is such a good idea...I am going to call to see how much they would charge to thread it for me.

I have been looking on utube on how to thread an Elna 614 - so far no luck. If any one knows of a video that shows that please post. I took several classes on a paid on line site but they only had brother, Jamone and a babylock. the other info was really good but I really was looking on how to thread the my serger. If not I will start reading the manual which is not as easy as viewing the video.

The more I research sergers the more I want a babylock - air threader. I have looked on ebay some good prices but I don't think I want to buy a used machine for that much unseen. I have been checking craigslist in my state so far none. I will keep looking. There is a new babylock machine out so hoping the others will start popping up for sale at a decent price. I am in no hurry so will just keep looking.
