    That is so sweet! Isn't that the greatest feeling? I've received the full gamut of reactions for gifted quilts from delight to no reaction (I wasn't present when they received them but no feedback). That was a bummer! Oh well! I chose to remember the positive reactions!

    I hand embroidered all my nieces a small quilt when they were very young. They are all in their 30's now and still have them. I am blessed.

    I was not satisfied with the picture of the quilt, because it did not show its true colors. I used the app Snapseed, and this is like it really looks.

    Early on I made a quilt for a dear friend for his birthday but he was also fighting cancer. After he passed away, I asked his wife what had happened to his quilt. She told me she had given it to his dear friend that had been with him to the end. I think that was the best answer I could have gotten.
