I bought a bag of 6 brand new, still in the plastic wrapper, Maxi-Lock cones of thread (2 red, 2 white & 2 blue) for $2.00 Saturday at ARC - they were half off, but would probably have paid $4 for all of them :)

I also look in the bins where they throw all the sewing items. I find thread cones and thread and lace etc. Good wills are good here too. I need to go garage saling too this weekend. COngrats on the great finds ladies.
