Well after seeing what folks are bringing home from the thrift store I decided after my sons doctor appointment that I would go hit them to see whats there.

I made out like a bandit!!!

Everything was half off at this one store and I bought all sorts of bedding to use for quilts. I ended up with a king sized bed set (deep pocket), a king size top sheet, a queen fitted sheet, a queen top sheet, a twin top sheet, a super nice twin sized wool blanket (batting for a lap quilt).

All of this for $8.52 tax included!!

The King sized deep pocket sheet set is made by Thomasville and looks and feels brand new(still has the folding marks from being in the package). So my wife said since it matched our bedroom we are going to keep them for it. All of the other sheets are either BB&B or Ralph Lauren and I will use them for quilting material.

Then while meandering around I found 4 Bowls and 4 Plates that are our pattern that we use for everyday ware for $2.98 for the set. Since a few of ours have the gold rim worn here or there and the kids and me   dropped a couple of them through the years, I was excited to find them for cheap. Mikasa discontinued this pattern 15 years ago so I always try to keep an eye out for extras.

So needless to say I am washing bedding as we speak and I tossed the dinnerware into the dishwasher so it can be washed after dinner tonite.

    Yes today was a good day....... :D :D :D

    Billy

Oh and I found a full set of Cams that will be in the Sale section!!

I shop the local thrift store all the time and find great quilting fabric. You never know what you'll find, that's why it's good to go there frequently!

Did you wear a mask???

I found something neat at a garage sale. Does anyone remember the old metal "worms" that we used back in the 60's to hold our record albums? They make GREAT ruler racks. I found one and now I'm searching for two more for my sisters. It's fun to ferret out things.
