I am going to make a dahlia Christmas tree skirt out of old mens ties. I would appreciate help or advice anyone might have for me. I need to know for sure if I need to add iron on pellon to the back of the tie pieces as they are cut? I, Thank You very much.

Go to the search button at the top of this page and type in neck tie quilt.

Ties are generally silk and cut on the bias. I would add some kind of one sided fusible stabilizer.
