Tied charity quilts

Our charity quilts are all tied unless I have time to quilt them. We use double crochet thread and after tying we cut the strings to 1/2" so they cannot be choked on. The local hospital gives them to all the pediatric patients, our local hospice always has a need for them, etc.........
