    Here is a pic of the tied fleece blanket I made for my real dad. He used to own race horses.

    Those blankets are so warm and comfy!! And so easy to make!!! My roommate in collage made me one and it's my favorite blanket on a cold day to snuggle and read in!!! I also keep it on my lap when I'm quilting and its cold!!! It came out beautiful!!!

    I gave all my grandkids these last year, they all loved them and use them a lpt.........that is very pretty :D Your dad will love it good job

    Beautiful! We don't get really cold cold winters here. It's 23 as I write this, but my grandson asked me to make him another warm blanket for football games. You've given me the impetus to get it started. Maybe your dad will tell you more stories of his race horses after receiving this blanket.
