    Cool Tilted (wonky) rectangles

For some reason just can't remember formula for making these. Is it the wider the strips the more the tilt? Or vice-versa?

    I know y'all will know!

I usually make my wonky settings by adding a 2 or 3 inch border all around. The wider the strip, the more tilt you can put on them. I take my large square and recut the block at an angle to make my wonky squares. You can do the sashings cut at an angle to make wonky blocks but that involves math and I don't DO math!

Yes, the wider the sashing the more you can tilt the block. I sew 2 to 3 inch sashing on and recut the block with my large square. You can do it by cutting angled sashing but the involves math..I don't DO math.
