    I have the 6500, love it but I really want the Horizon. That will be my next brand new machine.

    Thank you for this advice I will certainly join, if I get half as much help there as I have from this forum I'll be happy. My next move is to load the DVD that comes with the machine and watch that, then I may be a little more comfortable in having a play, who knows playing may produce treasures to be used in future quilts, waste not, want not.

    I got the Horizon in December and was lucky enough to get the cabinet and the carry bag. Boy do I love it!!!!! Absolutely love it!!!!! Just can't tell you how much.

    That's wonderful! Doesn't it make you wonder just how much of a "mark-up" there are on large items like that? My brother used to sell furniture and he said that most of it has a 600% mark-up. Glad you got your new toy! I think it's calling out to you right now. :-)
