More quilting time now that I am retired. Try to do household chores first then head to the sewing room. Just DH amd I now, so house stays cleaner then with children.

My house gets about an hour or two attention a day. Dh is a tv guy, I'm not, kids are gone, no job, i day a week i help a friend quilt and one day a week I deliver orders and do my in town stuff. The rest of the time is spent in my sewing studio.

That sounds heavenly! Do you sell the items you make?

I definitely want to be clsurz when I grow up!
Me too!!! I spend 75% of my time at work, 20% of my time cleaning, cooking, washing, grocery shopping, watching grandbabies, gardening, and only 5% of my time quilting. OK, so throw in another 2% for time on this board.... which keeps me sane! :)

Whatever time is left over. I want my quilting to be a total relaxing time, enjoyable time and the only time I can really do this is when I have everything done. I am fall cleaning the bedroom today, so figure it out! I do, however, plan while I am doing my "chores for the day". Hopefully I can get the block cut out later today. Nothing on the docket for tomorrow so I will be able to sew as much as I feel like. Then I am totally rested, relaxed and can think better when it comes to lining up the squares. Makes sense to me! I can quilt most any time I want to. Kids are big enough to take care of most things 12, 15, and 18. They help with the house by picking up after themselves.
