I have decided to sew some very small doll sized quilts. That would require small prints including tiny checks. What companies make them or where can the fabric be bought?

Andover Fabrics has some fantastic fabrics by Renee Nanneman called Itsy Bits. There are six separate collections of them and they would be perfect for tiny quilts. One collection is just checks, one just stripes, one just dots and three are general prints. On the two prints that I have, the pattern repeat is ¼".

For the checks collection, search for Itsy Bits Checklets by Andover Fabrics. Here's the Andover website pics of that group.

Be sure to check out the other five collections, too. They have some really great fabrics for small things like your quilts. I use them for greeting cards and love them.

We carry a few check fabrics:

Of these, the smallest-scale ones are Hunter Green Check, Light Blue Tiny Check, Maywood Light Green Check, Navy Houndstooth Tiny Check, Spring Yellow Gingham, and the Tiny Brown Tonal Check.

MCAR - Thanks for posting this. I am starting to collect fabrics for a display quilt.

I am starting to look for the small bits and pieces to make this really neat.
