    I use a drop of glycerin. It gives my hands just the right amount of tackiness, washes off easily, and doesn't get in the way of my quilting, besides, it's good for your skin. You can buy it at any drug store for $3 or $4 dollars and it will last you for more than the rest of your life.

    That stuff has a million uses! It works on the bottom of the pedal too to keep it from slipping all over the place.
