    Default Tip - Tacking gun

I always found it very hard to find all the tacks after using the tacking gun (spray baste not working on this fabric). The fabric is all black & white and I use the Microtex gun which has very small tacks and the color choices? Black or white!!!.

FINALLY I thought to put a small piece of brightly colored fabric or in my case, flourescent post-it note on and tack right through it! YAY!

Well thank you Kitsie, that is a great idea! I've missed lots of those little thingies, so this would help!

Genius!! Wish I'd thought of that back when I was doing the red and white quilt in my avatar with a Dritz gun that uses red tacks. Live and learn!

You can also spray paint or run a line of finger nail polish down the top of the tacks before using them. I have done this and it works wonders for visibility. Ann in TN
