I finished sewing and laid them out, a bit. I'll wait for the tips because I'm sure I'm missing something. Right now, I'm not sure it's going to be big enough and I may want to cut up my other piece to get more blocks. I have to decide if I want more of the lights or the darks. I'll post a photo later and you can tell me what you think, okay?

okay, here they are, so far! I found one that I sewed backwards, but it's really hard to tell. I'm thinking of leaving it...:) I'm posting two as I'm not sure which looks better with the camera shot, I didn't preview them before I attached them to this post.

It think that working up the other half is a good idea, even if you don't use them all, I think that you will be happier with the extra ones, looking good though, I love them,

I have the 64 blocks laid out but I am going to cut at least another set of repeats, maybe them both. We shall see. Probably both b/c I'd like to make a nice size quilt but won't have any left over. I will buy some more b/c I want to put a piece of the original fabric onthe back.

I like the way it flows, but will continue to look at it over the next week as I piece the other blocks. I never would have thought that I my beginner level I would have been able to do one of these!

I agree!!! the layouts are looking great!! I am just getting ready to start sewing before I cut more. I did go back and buy the last 3.5 yds last night along with some other things. I found myself looking at the clearance to see what others would make a great OBW
